@SW-User Tik Tok is partly owned by China and the company has been caught illegally tracking people (politics reports and journalist and such and anyone of importance that they can).

China has national policies basically saying if a company is told to do something, they must do it.

Tik Tok is claiming this was just some rogue employees that have since been fired. And nothing to worry about.

Americans politicians are worried about National safety and China tracking people, and Tic Tok got caught (weather for China or not is argued, China of course says they're innocent) and so American politicians are demanding China sell their ownership of tic tok or the American politicians will attempt to ban the App in America.

@candycane Yeah, I got pretty addicted to it a while back. It’s too constant for me, I’d find myself lying in bed, watching video after video and before I knew it, it was 3am. I had to delete it purely because I was wasting too much time when I needed to sleep. 😂
