Signs of aging

Suddenly all the people you admired and looked up to are gone or getting there. Parents, aunts uncles , mentors and teachers , older siblings , older neighbours. Sportsmen and women you grew up enjoying see, actors and singers.
Suddenly we find ourselves on the front line. Do our kids , nephews and nieces, younger community members look to us as I did once upon a time ? That's a frightening thought.
