Good luck.
I left the workforce at 42 permanently.
Just lived a different paradigm. Decided to make a life not a living.

@RenaissanceMan You wanted more.
@Zonuss Yes!
Living in backcountry with a rifle and a dog for a few years here and there. Climbed quite a few 14'ers in Colorado. Sailed for many years on two different oceans. Visited 23 countries and lived in 3 of them. Experienced and loved many women of different cultures. Helped a lot of people on my journey. At the end of the day...my last breath, I will smile. ALL we can take with us are experiences and memories.

@RenaissanceMan So true.

Much as I love the mountains of the southeast US, I need intellectual stimulation. Still, I can't take the cities. I've climbed a bit in Colorado, though never bagged a 14'er. Yet!
Some years I've sailed the Atlantic, Pacific, Gulf and Great Lakes. A few of my friends have gone around the world.
I've been to almost as many countries, but never lived anywhere but the US.

@Zonuss We all have a choice.
Just follow your heart. The universe will give you all of your intentions
if you trust with desire!

@glad18 If you are satisfied, then you are successful. I need intellectual stimulation too!
Backcountry(deep in nature). This is the greatest library of knowledge ever written. It is here I discovered how ignorant I am. It was in a cave in the Lidder Valley in northern India with a Sadhu that I discovered how to eat from sunlight....things they don't teach in a school. The passage between Honolulu and Bora Bora taught me how small I was and insignificant when we lost our main sail. If we all would just get rid of the fear...love each other, take care of each other, and as John Lennon said: Imagine

Maybe my problem is I'm never satisfied. There's always more.
But, I can be in the moment and be happy.

Losing a mainsail on the high seas is always, er, interesting.
I was once sailing in the Bahamas when the clevis pin on the windward shroud broke.

@glad18 sure. There is always more.
In the moment is very important and probably one of the hardest things to hold on too.

@RenaissanceMan Yes, because I also pay attention to the past and future.
Time is such a hard mistress.
