Just had my second cataract done.

Approximately 4 hours ago I was "under the knife"having a cataract removed from my left eye. I have been home over an hour now, with a plastic eye shield taped over the eye and in no discomfort. It was pretty much the same story with the first one, except more paperwork, because I was a first time patient..I know I had ther best cataract man in Melbourne . I did my research and with better than 20 20 vision in one eye already I can kiss glasses goodbye. Its a good day...It may be a couple so dayd before I can see clearly from the left eye. So until then excuse the occasional random typo. 😷

@exexec A lot of measuring and remeauring with computers went in selecting the right lenses for me first time out. And the retest verified that was the right choice when I went to get the second. Of course you may have something more complex going on. The eye is a complex thing..😷

I had both of mine done 2 years ago. No issues. He put in corrective lenses so I don't need glasses or contacts either. I do use dollar store readers tho

I saw no typos this time around. Congratulations on the first and second surgery going well! Sorry for the temporary discomfort. I don't know much about cataracts, just that as people age, they have this surgery done.
