I feel awful so itchy and so nauseous and sleepy though I ended up sleeping through most of my infusion… I have to keep the bandage on for 2 hours they said and then go back next week for another infusion (if I’m still pregnant)
I had an iron infusion about a month ago. Medicare didn’t want to pay for the one that my oncologist requested to be approved. So they had me have the cheaper one. I felt itchy too. Wouldn’t be surprised if it played a part in my rough month of misery, losing my appetite and losing 10 pounds and other symptoms.
@cherokeepatti insurance won’t pay for mine either it’s $300 out of pocket each time 😬 I was really trying to avoid infusions but I’m so close to birth and have a history of hemorrhaging and so ultimately I had to do them since my iron and iron reserves were severely low
@MommaBear Yeah I’ve had bleeding and one hemorrhage so bad I thought I was dying and end up in the ER. I can’t take enough iron to catch up and besides taking more inflamed my digestive system so bad it felt like I was having radiation once again. Still can’t have most dairy, anything spicy, coffee or chocolate.
