@RedFlagElla Probly before your time but still a good one. 🤘
Looking good
It's how we kept chicken coops warm back in the 1980's when I was in elementary school
I remember the red heat lamps installed in motel and hotel showers back in the 1970’s
Very warming and felt rather good 👍

No- is the idea that just seeing red light, instead of white light, is better for you? I'd be kind of dubious, but it'd be easy enough to test. There's an even cheaper option than changing your lights, though: just put red lenses in your glasses (and get glasses, if you don't have them already), and you'd be good to go.

I bought a smaller red light belt on amazon. I use it on my knees and lower back.
@Confined And? It works?

@RedFlagElla Seemed to help a little bit.

I love observing the effects of this therapy 😊
Yes. You can use many types of lamps.
I noticed the red glow through my hands in real sunshine, probably over fifty years ago, and always have had artificial lighting that shines right through my body including red, for winter. Incandescent lights were better, but they do waste energy. I have a whole lot of LEDs, now.
For me it's good if they're shining in a whole lot of wavelengths, including red.
@Roundandroundwego Thank you!

looks like you like red

This type of bulb!

Likely be cheaper at home Depot though.
@DeWayfarer I'll check it out thank you!

Here's a tip for you...stop effing around with your lights and taking photos of yourself, and hanging around on websites for cheap attention, and study! And THEN University won't be so hard!

@4meAndyouWonderful qualities any one should dream for. My admiration 🫡This one here doesn’t have any of those :( That makes me even 🤨 Being a straight shooter, how you manage to hit all these hearts at once? Is it that all of us losers were standing in straight line or is it some kind of technique ?

@Amish For an Amish person, you are full of the blarney! 🤭🤭🤭

@4meAndyou Shhh… don’t tell my community! They’re busy separating the wheat from the chaff. 🤫

I think it is a different wavelength of red light
rebelsoul · M
Never heard of it but I am sure it exists
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
heard of it for psoriasis and arthritis, but I doubt there are any cheap commercially available lights/bulbs to provide it at the needed wavelengths (long wave, near IR)
WanderingHelplessly · 51-55, M
I have not.
Teslin · M
Do you feel like it is helping?
And, what exactly is it supposed to help ? 🤷‍♂
GoFish ·
why? you don't need it, you're still young .. idk that it does anything anyway
JPWhoo · 36-40, M
Have not heard about it.
they're usually supposed to be a very specific wavelength, so that's hard to replicate just by eye balling it.
@Neuman Oh like it's impossible or I can get close ?
@RedFlagElla I expect it'd be really difficult, but few things are impossible. I'd also guess that normal, commercially available lights might not be able to actually hit the exact wavelength.

then again, if I hadn't said anything there's a good chances you'd get some placebo effect help from it... so varying mileage.
