Adelina tells me half the kids in her preschool are sick ☹

She's a preschool teacher and says at least two whole classes in her school are sick, including her own. Ugh... I'll be excited for when Lucas starts preschool but I am not looking forward to the inevitable illness that comes with school. He's only a few months, so at least it'll be a while before I have to worry about that... hopefully.

What?

I have three children (all grown up now of course) and I don't remember them getting sick from going to school. Sounds like a very unhealthy environment.

@Ducky But that can only happen if there are students or parents who are sick, it doesn't come from nowhere. Of course my children got the occasional cold but rarely anything more serious. And if they were not well they simply stayed home.

@ninalanyon You don't say. I always thought it came out of nowhere. A common cold is usually what goes around, hence the name.

@Ducky What I was incompetently trying to say is that it's not the school but society at large that is the problem. I notice when I visit the UK that a much larger proportion of the people I see seem to be suffering ill health than back home in Norway. The knock on effects are enormous and reflected in the difficulty people have accessing health care despite there being as many doctors per capita there as back home in Norway.
