Has anyone had Gastroparesis (due to diabetes)?

I just feel so badly for my sister. She's having neuropathy in her feet at just 38 years old and can barely walk (due to unstable diabetes). She's tried so hard for years to control her sugars, but her body is so sensitive to insulin, she can't take the full amount she really needs, so her sugar stay high. :( And that has led to complications now. She is the kindest person you'd EVER meet. She deserves goodness, not this awful SHIT.

Now, her stomach keeps churning every day for weeks, and it feels bloated too. She thinks it could be gastroparesis.. a stomach condition from diabetes, in which the food stays lodged in the stomach, unable to move freely. (from the nerves not working normally)

If anyone here has had it treated, what meds did you go on or treatment? She is making an appointment tomorrow to have the test done to see if it is indeed this condition.

Diabetes amplifies everything.

Diet and exercise are the key. Some doctors, are helpful here. Shop around.

Just encourage her to keep going.

Yes, I am diabetic.

As for the blood sugar and insulin issues thc has had a lot of positive research in controlling blood sugar and that's why so many fat stoners eat and drink like garbage and lay around all the time but never seems to have the issues that active diabetics who actually try taking care of themselves seem to struggle with
