Has anyone experienced this medical issue?

For several months, every time I pee, I feel I have to go again. I guess it is a type of incontinence. I figured, well I'm in my 40's now, and my pelvic muscles might be a bit weaker than a decade ago. But it is still occurring. I had a slight UTI about two months ago too, but that cleared up with medication. Now I feel a slight pain again in my pelvic area.
I will contact my PCP soon, and partly I refrained b/c I get so panicked with a whole other thing: blood pressure checks. They make a big deal out of it, even though it is White coat syndrome.

But after several months of this urinary issue I know I need to contact the office soon. I'm just really nervous, what if it's something serious like cancer? I guess if it were uterine cancer, I read there would be a lot of bloating and pain too. Thank goodness I don't have that right now anyway. And if it were urinary tract cancer, you'd have blood in urine. So those things put my mind at ease , that I don't have those. But I'm still nervous. :( Anyone have this issue, and if so, how was it treated ?

Catching whatever it is sooner then later is always better
It’s good to get checked. Uterine cancer is more commonly associated with constant bleeding. I’ve had two friends with it. Maybe a swab is a good idea to see if it’s a resistant type of UTI? Otherwise pelvic floor exercises.
I just turned 40, sounds like a UTI but I am also not a doctor

@Baybreeze See. Could be something as simple as a stent problem.
Check it. Remove it. Replace it. See if that makes a difference.

Mine is ongoing unfortunately.
I spoke with the Consultant yesterday.
She has an idea but wants to consult with others including the surgical team to work out the best way forward.
Could be as simple as an injection into the neck of the bladder with botox apparently.

She's from Addenbrookes and is questioning the information given to her by my city hospital who did the original diagnosis and operation.
She thinks because the city hospital people didn't follow up as quickly as they should have, they may not have been entirely honest with their assessment prior to the referral to Addenbrookes.

@Picklebobble2 Do they know what the diagnosis is? I hope the Botox can alleviate it for you...

@Baybreeze She asked me if I was prepared to go there for treatment rather than the city hospital near me.
That way the course of treatment could be assessed properly and examined by both Addenbrookes and the city hospital.

I'm happy to do that.
But i don't want the city hospital taking no responsibility for either their poor decision making nor possibly their potential future liabilities if it turns out Addenbrookes find something that the city hospital should have picked up and treated themselves.

I'm also aware that someone has to pay for all this stuff and I don't want to get into some daft nonsense about who the liability lies with. The overstretched NHS or the potential services from Addenbrookes

I’m thinking it’s probably just a reoccurrence of a UTI. Having sex can trigger a UTI if the urethra becomes irritated again. My wife has that issue.

inflammation of ureter (tube between kidneys and bladder) will cause that; pretty common for kidney stones that don't pass easily...

It’s possible it’s kidney stones

@Muthafukajones Yes but I was on meds for one a couple months ago, and the pain and bloating went away in a week, but the leaking/incontinence did not. :(

@Baybreeze They can recur easily for awhile after having one. Have you had sex with a new partner? Women actually get utis because of different bacteria when changing lovers amoung other causes. Your lady parts grow accustomed to the new bacteria of a new lover.
