MommaBear · 26-30, F
@GoFish I hate when they do this
GoFish ·
@MommaBear yeah uncool .. you didn't consult the insurance before the test or was it an emergency? 😳 i hate how the medical field is such a racket like here's a Kleenex for 80$ type bs
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@GoFish that’s the thing.. I was told they’d cover it

Hope you're listening Brits? This is why you should protect our NHS by supporting a socialist government and definitely not voting reform. Unless you have a similar amount of cash to throw around? If you do, instead of cheese and wine parties, send it to me. I'll install a hot tub in the garden. 💵💰💸

Appeal that shit. Then when they deny that, ask for an independent review.
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@ineedadrink yeah I’m definitely appealing it
TravisTx · M
They shouldn’t have administered a test like that without having the proper insurance authorization. Most definitely appeal! I know you will.
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@TravisTx yeah I was told they’d cover it which is why I went ahead and approved for them to do the test but now insurance says they won’t cover I’m definitely going to appeal
TravisTx · M
@MommaBear I think they’ll end up covering it after an appeal. That should have been made clear to you prior, so you’d have the option to go through with it or not. Good luck!
Insurance: we pre approved you. Didnt mean that we would actually pay for anything. Thats just for you to consent to it. Oh, we're also going to knock your credit score a couple hundred points since you weren't approved for the test but took it anyway

Make a bad faith claim against them with your state board of insurance. Nothing gets an insurer in trouble more than acting in bad faith. Can you prove that they approved it ? i.e. something in writing? Agent's name that told you it was covered? (they can be held liable separately from the insurance co).
