I feel for you. I had to have two done last year. The first one I wasn't cleaned out well enough. Are you drinking the drink or taking the pills?

@Musicman They had me taking laxatives, drinking a bottle of that liquid magnesium citrate , and then drinking a huge amount of water with electrolyes afterwards. You feel so washed out and weak by the time you are finished.

@cherokeepatti They had me drinking the gallon of stuff. It tasted terrible. I couldn't finish it and as a result I wasn't fully cleaned out. The doctor tried, but couldn't get a good look so we had to do it again. The second time I took the pills with apple juice. That did the trick. I barely slept and spent most of the night in the bathroom. Those pills really cramped up my stomach, but they got the job done.

@Musicman They aren’t recommending that gallon jug of stuff anymore. Insurance wasn’t paying for it and they probably got a ton of complaints about that. But it was replaced with 3 other over-the-counter things that we have to pay for so there’s not much difference in cost.

@cherokeepatti The gallon jug was free. All I had to do was add water and shake. The pills were $280, but the doctor gave me a free sample so I didn't have to pay anything. How much does the over the counter stuff cost?

@Musicman I’d have to look it all up and add it up. Not that expensive to me but some would complain on it.

@cherokeepatti Someone is always going to complain.

@Musicman My sister is a good example of that. She got the best Medicare plan she could have for the situation she is in. It was set up to help keep Seniors out of the nursing homes. There were a lot of the residents in the Senior apartment complex where she lived that had this plan and they were bragging about it. It was really good for someone who had no car to get around. They offered free transportation for all medical visits and would come & get her in a van, taking her up to the health science medical center where I go for treatments. they offered free fitness classes and would have given her free transportation for that. One time she was complaining about her legs swelling and a nurse drove over to where she lived at night and gave her some support stockings, no charge. That type of thing. She complained about trivial things so much and ended up dropping the plan and switching over to another one around her birthday and not even keeping it a year.
