How much!!!!😱😱😱😱 Really!!!
Im off on my holibobs next month. Despite a couple of long term health conditions that are controlled by meds, hubs and I have managed to get 12 months joint cover for multi trips for under £50 for the last few years.
Im currently on a waiting list to have my gallbladder removed having developed gallstones due to weightloss after being diagnosed with diabetes so i obviously had to disclose this on the insurance.
I was unable to get any cover!!! I had to go via a government website that pointed me to companies dealing 'pre existing' conditions.
The lowest quote i got was ...... wait for it......£765.00 !!!!!! That was basic cover!!! 'Gold' cover was over £1100.000!!!!! Thats more than the cost of my holiday!!!
Eventually, i've had to get an exemption certificate so i'm covered for everything except a gallstone flare up.....taking us back down to £50!!!!!!
Looks like i'm gonna have to be extra careful what i eat and drink while i'm away!!!
