I got my wisdom teeth taken out today

I was put under anesthesia with gas mask on my nose. and given a Valium before hand to calm my nerves. My teeth were apparently impacted and two had cavities. I was very aggravated through that they asked me to take off my inner jacket, hat ( gas mask) , and scarf and I was very cold throughout the procedure. I had an outer coat and gloves on before. And I had to be weighed in kilograms on a scale which I was not expecting. I had thermals under a sweater dress and two pairs of woolly socks and fleece lined leggings under velvet leggings with sheepskin boots too and obviously underwear. Camisole, and bra . I was very cold during my surgery which was uncomfortable. I got novocaine injections and nitrous oxide gas to ease the pain. I was not going to do intravenous sedation no way. The staff were generally kind and tried to explain things and put me at ease. I was annoyed as they were open until 5pm why they couldn’t have done the surgery at say 3 pm and I would come in for two instead having to be there at 12 for 1 pm pre meds Valium. And having to be up half asleep and groggy at ten am. The surgery was done in an hour. Really what is it with having to do everything early? My mom got the latest appointment she could for me on a Friday. Now the aftercare is a pain in the ass I can only eat soft foods for the next few days and have to take pain relievers and antibiotics on top of the five medications I already take sheesh. My parents and dentist pressured me into getting my wisdom teeth taken out because I wanted to cancel my appointment yesterday even though this apparently needed to be done. My mom took today off to be home with me for the weekend so my dad and mom can help me with recovery. Now today can’t use mouthwash. The oral surgeon did not have to cut deep into my gums to take out the teeth so I have no stitches in my mouth. So many post operative care rules. And with dietary restrictions I am going to be hungry oh great. Eating only soft foods for me is like fasting. Can’t have hard foods can’t eat or drink anything hot oh joy. I have to follow the doctors advice if I want to heal. Getting these taken out might have saved up trouble in the future but right now is a pain in the neck. I was this close to canceling my appointment.yesterday because I was so nervous about wisdom teeth extraction. I was also so close to canceling my operation to remove my cancerous gonads a couple of months ago because I was terrified of being cut open and operated on. I don’t need any more surgeries do a lifetime.
