I Know I'm Alarmist And Can Get Paranoid

I have a doctor's appointment today, which usually isn't any big deal. But with this one, with the symptoms I have, I have a feeling the doctor is going to be looking for some underlying health issue that is not going to have a good outcome.

After tests, I'll be relieved if I have something that can easily be corrected. If it's something that can't, there's nothing I can do but just deal with it.

I'm so glad for my anti-anxiety meds.

No matter what they find, I want to know. Once I know, I can do something. Once I know what I'm dealing with, and I've done all I can to fix it, I feel a sense of relief. For me not knowing is the scariest. I have stage 3 CKD and I've had 5 heart attacks.

Best wishes
@oldgrumpbear OMG - stage 3 CKD and 5 heart attacks. 😧 I'm so glad you're still among us. 🫂

Yes, I do find a sense of relief just knowing what it is I'm working with, but not necessarily right at the moment of finding out. That can be anxiety producing to me.

I pray for constant improvement for you. 🙏
