Muscle massager gun Vs. TENS Unit?

My sister is looking for a tool to possibly help her neuropathy in her feet. Anyone know what might help more, a muscle massager/gun or a TENS unit?
She's wondering if any relief can be an option if nerves are nearly dead? 😕

You might find people here who'd found such-and-such a treatment safe and effective but it is very unwise to assume it will be so for everyone.
