Muscle massager gun Vs. TENS Unit?

My sister is looking for a tool to possibly help her neuropathy in her feet. Anyone know what might help more, a muscle massager/gun or a TENS unit?
She's wondering if any relief can be an option if nerves are nearly dead? 😕

I have used a tens unit in conjunction with chiropractic treatment. It was helpful to rid of nerve pain. I also needed massage for my butt.
Actually I received knots that tens unit could not address but was taken care of by the right massage therapist. I was actually burning my skin and muscles with electricity overusing the tens unit.
