I just found out i have a 14mm nodule on my left lung

I hope this little story will help you to feel more positive. Not ALL nodules are cancerous. BUT, if it is cancerous, cancer caught early is VERY treatable!!!

I have a good friend, (whom I call my annoying friend), who was diagnosed with stage 3 inoperable lung cancer. The V.A. doctor, (obviously a low scorer at medical school), told him to go home and get his affairs in order!!!

Instead of listening to that dreck, he went to the best cancer hospital in Boston, (Dana Farber), and they were able to stop the cancer in its tracks with targeted radiation and chemotherapy.

He has now survived for EIGHT years after being told to go home and get his affairs in order.

NICE story, huh?

Sorry for all the confusion. I really am grateful for all the kind words. 2 different techs read the x-ray. One was wrong and I couldn't be more happy. No growth on my lung after all. But like I said thank you all for the supportive comments

Yes you have a growth.
Re-scan in a few weeks time and see if it's grown.

Unless they recognise the signs and the prognosis changes.

Was it from smoking? I mean I smoke, which is why I am curious.
