Anyone who's been thin or normal weight range

A. Do you keep that way for your image or looks?
Be honest.

B. Or is it for health reasons and to stay healthy overall?

C. Or have you essentially never craved extra food and it just came naturally to be thin or normal weight?

A. At one point, yes it was nice to get the attention and wear all the clothes I liked.

B. But for the most part it was for my health. I lost my parents young so I'm very mindful of my health.

C. I'm a chonk at heart, but sometimes I just don't want to eat. I have constant nausea so that deters too much over eatting.
@ScreamingFox do you know the cause of your nausea?
(If it is not a secret)
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON I've had all the tests and they determined it's a symptom of my fibromyalgia. Nothing I can do about it.

Candida Die-Off Symptoms

Symptoms vary from person to person. Some notice mild changes; others feel intense flu-like effects for a few days. Your symptom mix depends on how much Candida is dying, your overall health, and how efficiently you detox.

Physical symptoms

Flu-like feelings are common. Here’s what many people report and why they happen:

Fatigue or exhaustion – Immune activity and inflammation redirect energy toward cleanup, leaving you tired.

Headaches – Often linked to acetaldehyde and vascular changes; hydration and mineral-rich meals can help (source, source). See our guide to acetaldehyde.

Muscle and joint aches – Inflammatory signals and fluid shifts can cause soreness and stiffness.

Digestive upset – Bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhea, cramping, or nausea as the microbiome shifts and motility changes.

Fever and chills – Low-grade fevers can occur as immune cells become more active.

Skin rashes or itching – The skin helps eliminate toxins; brief flares or hives can appear, then settle.

Temporary worsening of existing symptoms – Digestive issues, sinus congestion, or skin problems can spike before they improve.

Mental and emotional symptoms

Die-off can affect mood and cognition too. These often improve as your toxin load eases:

Brain fog – Trouble concentrating or feeling “spaced out” (source).

Mood swings – Irritability or emotional sensitivity during the inflammatory window.

Anxiety or low mood – Toxin load and inflammation can influence neurotransmitters; gentle pacing helps.

Sleep changes – Insomnia or restless sleep; a consistent wind-down routine can help reset rhythms.

Why symptoms vary

Intensity and duration depend on several factors. If you tend to react strongly to supplements, build more slowly:

Size and location of your overgrowth – Larger intestinal loads may release more by-products at once.

How aggressive your protocol is – Faster changes often mean stronger, shorter reactions.

Liver and gut detox capacity – Supportive nutrients and regularity matter.

Other health conditions or sensitivities – Histamine issues, IBS, or migraines can amplify responses.

Pacing – Staggering changes reduces peak intensity.

Candida Die-off Symptoms. You might have to deal with digestive issues like bloating, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, constipation, or changes in bowel movements. The digestive issue may be worse for those who already had to deal with them before treating candida.

I believe if one is constantly in a candida *excess and die off*, one will always 4ave 74ese issues unrelentingly.

Nausea is a common physical symptom associated with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), which can be a direct physical reaction to a trauma or a chronic issue resulting from the condition. It's considered a physical symptom that can occur during a person's response to a traumatic event or be a long-term physical problem linked to PTSD. Nausea can also be a prospective predictor of developing PTSD symptoms, with higher rates of gastrointestinal symptoms, including nausea, being linked to PTSD.

Why PTSD Causes Nausea

Physiological Stress Response: When you're triggered by a traumatic memory, your body's "fight-or-flight" system can activate, leading to physical symptoms like nausea, increased heart rate, sweating, and trembling.

Chronic Stress: The long-term effects of trauma and constant stress can impact the digestive system, leading to issues such as nausea, pain, or even other gastrointestinal disorders.

Nervous System Link: The nervous system and the gut are closely connected, and chronic stress from PTSD can disrupt this connection, contributing to symptoms like nausea and other gastrointestinal (GI) complaints.

How to Manage Nausea Related to PTSD

Practice Relaxation Techniques: Deep breathing and mindfulness can help calm the nervous system and reduce stress, which can alleviate anxiety-related nausea, according to Neuro Wellness TMS Centers of America.

Adjust Your Diet: Try eating small amounts of bland foods, like plain crackers, and sipping on water or other clear fluids.

Peppermint: Peppermint tea or diluted peppermint oil can help settle the stomach and reduce mild nausea, notes the Cleveland Clinic.

Gentle Movement: Gentle physical activity can also help with anxiety-related nausea.

Seek Professional Help: A licensed clinician can provide evidence-based care and practical tools to manage anxiety and stress responses, including anxiety-related nausea.
If you are experiencing nausea and think it could be related to PTSD, it is important to speak with a healthcare professional to discuss your symptoms and explore treatment options.

In addition to changes in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, people with PTSD may also experience physical problems. These could be acute or chronic. Acute physical symptoms typically last for a short time in reaction to reminders of trauma. These could include increased heart rate, sweating, trembling, muscle tension, nausea, pain (e.g., back, joints, headaches), trouble breathing, and/or dizziness. PTSD has also been linked with chronic physical problems such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, heart disease, chronic pain, fatigue, and decreased life expectancy.

The person may not realize the connection between their physical symptoms and a traumatic event. For people with chronic pain, the pain may serve as a reminder of the trauma, which in turn may cause or worsen other PTSD symptoms, depression, or alcohol and prescription medication misuse......

It totally sucks and we can do it. It is a difficult dx. And you are incredibly strong and brave and kind and lovely.

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON We can do this. We deserve the softness in our mind and body that soothes.
