Develop a strong set of core muscles so that your internal organs have so support to help hold them in place. If you have have muscles in that area and a good diet it’s possible return things possibly better than before

I have diverticulosis too. I pretty much stick to eating the same stuff. I find that roasted sweet potatoes and tuna are the easiest on me. I’ve had to cut a lot of stuff out of my diet.
Maybe we could brainstorm together if you’re interested
Also, when you have the diverticulitis flareups, you’re supposed to have no to low fibre but most other days when you’re not going through the diverticulitis flareup you’re supposed to have high fibre diet

Have you tried peppermint oil capsules? It can give some immediate relief and then give more significant relief within about 4 to 6 weeks. My mother has had very good result in combination with a careful diet. I never hear her complain anymore.

Sorry you’re having to deal with that. I’ve had some kind of IBS-related issues since I was a kid. It doesn’t really matter what I eat either, it’s just always been a problem.

I had 2 episodes, i swore I would never go through it again. I make sure I eat at least 25 grams of dietary fiber every day!
