Does anyone here suffer with TMJ problems? What do you do that works when a flare up is super painful?

My jaw clicks often. A couple of years ago during the pandemic I may have dislocated it in my sleep and it didn't go back in place by itself. The pain was extraordinary. I eventually got seen to in the ER by a Doctor who googled my symptoms. Printed out some exercises for my mouth and a script for Panadeine forte that didn't dull anything.
