Went to doc and I lost four more pounds. My blood work is fantastic.

Just going to see the cardiologist about chest pain and heart palpitations, which is probably due to stress and exhaustion. EKG looked fine, but my Mom had heart disease/quadruple bypass, and my dad had arrhythmia, so we're gonna get the ticker checked out just in case.

I'm so so soooo grateful for my primary doc. She's a bad ass and I'll be sad when I move and lose her. Funny enough though she used to live where I want to move! She told me a lot of people with similar issues as me get better where it's sunny, dry and warm. There are lots of holistic healing options there too.

I'm just really grateful for her. I've had so many bad experiences getting medical care, she has helped me so much.

She's a beautiful person and coincidentally her name is Diamond, and that she is.

Glad you’re feeling better and trending the right direction. As I sit here waiting for my bionic heart valve, I can attest to the fact that you do not want to take your ticker for granted. In my case, it’s a birth defect, so you may even learn that your issues are not due to anything you’ve done. Best of luck with all of it.

Stress and exhaustion can take its toll on the heart. I was told that stress was the cause of my A-fib.

A good primary doctor is priceless, especially when they know it’s time to send you to a specialist.

It is a part of self care, along with getting all the other things your body, mind and soul need.

Better safe than sorry. I have a similar family history. I hope you heart calms. 🤗

Do you need to lose weight? The last time I saw you you looked good. Maybe she can recommend someone there when you move.

@Degbeme not really, a few pounds maybe, just slim pickins rn
Congratulations on the good results, and especially on having a doctor you can trust. 😊

Well that's a bunch of good news. 🙂
I lost my last GP when her husband got transferred to Chicago, she actually made more money than him, so it was a stupid move, I do not like my new gp, she's not a full MD but a nurse practitioner, most of the practitioners and specialists at my hospital group are mainly NPs, which shows how cheap they are, they're even stopping free valet next month which is going to hurt us disabled and the elderly since handicapped parking hardly has any spaces.
