Cigarguy101 Before you do, there's one thing you need to do before you see him about it. And it is a foolproof way to show if you have a bad thyroid. I used this test on myself and it is super accurate I don't care what they say. I've done my research very thoroughly on this. Here's how to tell if you have a bad thyroid and it's important you follow these directions precisely. It's not hard.
Use a regular old fashioned thermometer. The digital ones are not trustworthy! I don't care what they say. They are not.
Keep a notepad and pen by your bed.
Take your temperature as soon as you wake up:
Before getting out of bed, while you're still resting. do this first thing in the morning and write down the date and time and temperature reading. Don't eat or drink before you take it. Take your temperature in the morning and then in the evening before you go to bed. It's very important. Don't miss. Do this for at least 10 days but 20 would be ideal. It would be more accurate and then you can have proof that your thyroid is not functioning well. Then at the end of say 20 days, you can show that list to your doctor. That's what I did and he really appreciated it. It left no doubt that I was hypothyroid. It's not hard to do and it only takes a minute and it's well worth it for your health. I would not take the synthetic thyroid medicine if you have hypothyroidism. I think it's important to take that product I told you about. You can get it online from RLC Labs. You would only need to take one a day and it will cure your hypothyroidism. It's important that you have a combination of iodine and
IoDIDE and this is the only product that has it that I know of. I buy the 12.5 mg with 90 capsules.
Keep the thermometer accessible: Keep it at your bedside to minimize movement that could alter the reading.
Consistent timing: Take your temperature at the same time each morning.
Track your readings: Record your temp daily and note any trends, such as consistently low or high temperatures.
