Learning to "read the body"

Throughout the years of being a natural health consultant ive taken many classes from many practitioners. One of my favorite has been "reading the body" from an herbalist. It goes over all the markings and patterns in the skin, face, nails, etc etc and what conditions with which they might conincide.

Anyone else go through this type of training?

I would love a system where our bodies are read once in 3 years and our condition recorded for analysis. Holistic healing is a great science but not supported by governments run by pharmaceutical companies. I was amazed by the way practitioners can read the entire body just by reading the pulse. As children we must all learn to study the pulse of others so we can heal one another efficiently.

@in10RjFox Ayurveda and TCM both use the pulse, among other aspects

@Lloorrii2 yes.. acupuncture therapists have to learn pulse reading. The way they diagnose each internal organ is simply amazing.
@in10RjFox @in10RjFox This pulse reading sounds very much what Aryuvedic practitioners pay attention to; e.g., the “Cobra Pulse,” etc. i am fascinated by what the ancient Hindus learned over thousands of yrs. I am actually somewhat convinced that some Indian proto civilization was probably the oldest one on earth, probably deep in time in the Ice Age, originating in one of the warmer, Interglacial periods…
