Has anyone gotten a nerve Ultrasound?

Where would you get it done? My sister needs one to check the nerve function in her feet but no doctor seems to know where to have it done.

Perhaps a podiatrist?

I searched "podiatrist nerve ultrasound" and Google's AI Search Overview was this:

Ultrsound is a diagnostic imaging technique that uses sound waves to create images of nerves in the foot. It can help identify nerve compression and other issues that cause foot pain.

How it works

• A podiatrist applies a gel to the foot to help the sound waves create clear images

• A handheld device moves over the foot, sending sound waves into the foot

• The sound waves create real-time images of the foot's soft tissue

What it can show

• Swelling of the nerves, also known as neuromas

• Nerve compression

• Issues with tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels

What it's used for: Diagnosing foot pain, Planning treatment, Monitoring healing, and Guiding injections and other procedures.

What it can help with: Plantar fasciitis, Tendinitis, Heel spurs, Bursitis, Tarsal tunnel syndrome, and Morton's neuroma.

I am not sure if this includes neuropathy. So maybe a neurologist is needed?

Do you have chatgpt?

If not, download it. And ask it to find a place for a nerve ultrasound in your area or, what to do
