Living with city water I’m wondering if anyone has water filtration system recommendations?

I was looking at the The Water Machine.com and the Copper water filtration system by Sertodo Copper. I had another friend recommend a water distiller. If you’ve tried anything let me know your experience I’m trying to move on from bottled water.
Combine UV with Filtration. I own two UV water bottles:

I would filtrate it first (most any filter will work) and then pour it into the UV sanitizer bottle. I've turned swamp water into water cleaner than the best spring water.

I owned one UV bottle prior, and it eventually died on me, while hiking through South Carolina. You think they are rugged because they are metal but can't really take a month long hike in extreme heat. So baby these bottles. Put a few on your amazon wish list and they are more likely to pop up on flash sales for adound $30 instead of $80-$120.

Really depends on where you live what I would recommend to do if I move somewhere new and didn't know what the water quality was like I would go to home Depot Lowe's probably offers it and get what they call water test kit you basically just take a sample of water send it off they send it back with what's in the water. Look at what's in there see if any of it bothers you then look for a water filter that specializes in what concerns you about your water.
Where I live in Pennsylvania I have City water and half time it turns my stomach it tastes bad and they just put new water lines in the old lines were over 100 years old. I'm about ready to get bottle water or store bought spring water.

Have you had the water tested ?

You need to know what to filter out

Is the water hard ?

What is the TDS ?

UV doesn't kill bugs, it changes them so they can't breed Eg. 1 bug in 24 hrs will be 1,000 bugs
Does your refrigerator filter not take care of it?

A water distiller would be a good route to go.
I have a 22 cup countertop brita, I highly recommend it.
