blue cross blue shield reversed their decision to stop covering anesthesia if the surgery runs over. is the timing curious?

You mean that an insurance company only covered anaesthesia for fixed amounts of time per procedure?

I keep seeing more ridiculous ideas from US health care all the time, it seems that human ingenuity is endless; it's just such a pity that all that effort is so misplaced and so inhuman.

@ninalanyon yes, exactly. imagine something going wrong during a procedure and it runs over and isn't covered. what a horrible nightmare in an already scary situation

another healthcare ceo was killed and honestly i dont think it had anything to do with why bc/bs reversed their choice but i very strongly dislike the the healthcare system in my country and it's hard to be overwhelmingly symathetic towards billionaires that let other people suffer and die

For some reason the oligarchs are concerned about personal security.

The American public is armed and pissed. Some even train with their weapons.

No coincidence, they're scared.

Good.
It actually makes sense. People found out during open enrollment—just in time to change their healthcare plans.
BCBS is trying to regroup. 😳
