Here's a short one. Blessings and positivity to those having to undergo surgery or to those who have had surgery recently. Especially to those dear to

my heart. When was your last surgery? How did it turn out? Were you treated well by staff? How are you doing now? Blessings.

I had a hysterectomy when I was 22. Quite devastating at the time, but I was very well cared for and we have found other ways to bring children into our lives.

I wish your brother all the best 💖
@SunshineGirl Thank you so much. I am glad you have brought children into your lives. You are a great mom.

2008..I had surgery to alleviate my sleep apnea. They fixed my deviated septum, removed my tonsils, adenoids, epiglottis, and widened my airway. It worked. The surgeon and staff were great. I’ve had no problems since.
@blackarcher256 I am happy for you.

Have had many surgeries in my lifetime, most major were open heart surgery and two different bowel cancer surgeries. Each different in its own right.
@cd4259 How are you doing now?

Only had one surgery, when I was 17 on my left leg, after a motorcycle accident.

I was extremely fortunate. It turned out better, more flexible, than my other leg. Yet that was six months of a hell, that I would rather not have gone through.
@DeWayfarer I sm happy for you. I am currently in the hospital in London visiting my brother. I sent him a week and a day ago. He needs some cardiac surgeries and further treatment for another serious condition too. I help him understand what is going on and dpesk to his healthcare team. They are great.

@PoetryNEmotion Hope all goes well and your brother gets better.
@blackarcher256 Thank you. He is my dearest sibling. And I would miss him terribly if he were not in the world.

I've only had one surgery. I had my tonsils removed in 1986, when I was 12.
@CactusJackManson Well, that is good. I only had one about 5 years ago. It had complications. I still cannot digest fats properly. It is posted for an online friend-not from here-who recently underwent surgery for bladder cancer. And for my brother whom I love dearly and will have to have several surgeries soon. It hurts my heart deeply.
