I wish my sister would believe me

She has all these "symptoms" and is not allergic to everything. She thinks she has long Covid from like 3 years ago. I'm trying to tell her it's anxiety, I've had it my whole life, but she says it's not. 🙄 ok, let the doctors suck you dry and run every test under the sun then

Long COVID is also called long-haul COVID, post-COVID syndrome (or conditions) and post-acute sequelae of COVID-19. In many people, it's compared to myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). Because of the different symptoms and possible causes, there's no single treatment that works for everyone. My poor daughter is suffering from the long-term effects, herself. It has affected her lungs and more and more people are saying the same. It's nothing made up.

@Jenny1234 I'm not feeling so good today either. I fell really hard 2 days ago and my head won't quit hurting and I'm all bruised up so I'm going to go have x-rays done tomorrow at the hospital. Broke my ribs.

@LadyGrace I literally felt some relief after my first session. It’s worth tryinb
@Jenny1234 I so appreciate that information and I just told her. I hope she'll go and have that done.

I’ve suffered from long Covid for 2.5 years now. I don’t have anxiety or allergies except to perfume. I’ve been to every specialist that you can think of for a diagnosis, and it was finally a neurologist who saw me who said I’m perfectly healthy but he says this is long Covid that I’m going through. I have been able to start recovering thanks to acupuncture.

My profile picture is from September 2021 on a hike in West Virginia and it is the last time that I actually felt truly healthy. But I am rebounding and I intend to get back to that very soon

I hear you I thought with me it was my hey fever and colds but it's not it was my stress and anxiety doing it making my sick

I am so sorry to hear that. Sometimes some people just don't want to listen the loved ones.

She has to figure it out for herself...don't get frustrated. I deal with a similar person that has fixed beliefs, probably a little worse....

This one lady told me of her aunt who loved going to doctors for attention..

Is she finding comfort in the symptoms, or using it as excuse to mask some kind of deeper insecurities?

Long covid left me fcked up. Ive the energy of a 90 year and lungs to match

@SW-User im sorry you’re experiencing that. LC is debilitating
I'm still having a few symptoms of mine from over two years ago, the sudden nose dripping is the most annoying.

@NativePortlander1970 but from cold to a hot place will make your nose drip
@Lilnonames I lost track of how many times my nose would start dripping like a faucet just sitting in my chair, or in bed watching youtube in a constant temperature.
