How Low Is Too Low For Blood Pressure For Someone Who Is Almost 70 years Old?

I went to Sam’s Club today to pickup a rotisserie chicken and some other things for lunch. Decided to sit down and get my BP checked at the machine next to the pharmacy area. It was 82/50. And marked as “normal”. Just a couple months ago my primary care doctor wanted to put me on blood pressure meds but I decided to stop drinking coffee and my BP came down.

I don't know who to blame...the Machine or the Doctor only has one Job from demands.

@FreestyleArt I had readings last year sometimes at about 190/85…they said it was probably White Coat Syndrome and I agreed because it was never that high at home unless my back was out and I had a bad pinched nerve, which happened once about a decade ago. I think coffee is too much of a stimulant for me, I didn’t drink much, about 12 ounces each morning but that’s all it took. And what is weird is that the doctors always recommend cutting back on salt but I have never had a high sodium level with all the lab test they’ve done in the past year, it’s always low.
