Spent all night at the emergency room.

My wife was having symptoms of a possible oncoming stroke. As this was happening a few months after she experienced a TIA (a "mini-stroke") we rushed to the ER, and got there a little before 8 PM.

It was the craziest, busiest, I have ever seen that place!

After an EKG, a Cat Scan, an MRI, and blood tests everything looked OK. She will wear a monitor for while to keep track of her heart beat and has scheduled an appointment with a neurologist.

We got back home a little before 7 AM!

Oh my goodness, what a scary and exhausting experience! I'm so relieved to hear that your wife's test results came back okay. It's great that you acted quickly and got her to the ER promptly. That's exactly what you should have done, especially given her history with the TIA.

It sounds like the hospital was chaotic, but I'm glad the medical team was able to give her the attention and testing she needed. The monitor and follow-up appointment with the neurologist should provide more insight and peace of mind.

Please take care of yourself too - supporting a loved one through a health crisis can be draining. Make sure you get some rest and prioritize your own well-being as well.

I hope your wife continues to recover and that you both get some much-needed rest. Keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers! ❤️🌹 Hugs to you both. Tell her I said, "I hope you feel better and get well soon! I'm keeping you in my prayers."
