Spent all night at the emergency room.

My wife was having symptoms of a possible oncoming stroke. As this was happening a few months after she experienced a TIA (a "mini-stroke") we rushed to the ER, and got there a little before 8 PM.

It was the craziest, busiest, I have ever seen that place!

After an EKG, a Cat Scan, an MRI, and blood tests everything looked OK. She will wear a monitor for while to keep track of her heart beat and has scheduled an appointment with a neurologist.

We got back home a little before 7 AM!

@MyNameIsHurl Thank you! We are both glad that the worst case scenario was not true. But there is still the lingering mystery as to what is going on. Hopefully seeing the specialist will help answer that question.

@MyNameIsHurl My mom had a stroke at age 92. Both my wife and I were very aware of that throughout all of this.

I am sorry to hear about your Mom. Is she OK now?

@DrWatson yeah, she had the same thing, a mini stroke. She needs to take better care of herself I feel like. She's almost 70
