Have to use speech to text or type with my non-dominant hand, which is not easy..

Just wanted to let the friends who I shared this with know that my procedure went unbelievably well, and according to the surgeon, I had better results than the “normal results” he gives. He also said that in the over 25 years he’s been doing this that he has never seen anyone but me be fully awake and aware w/the two strong sedatives they give 🤣 Then when I questioned my nurse as to why the others after me looked like they were put to sleep for theirs and I wasn’t, she said they had the same exact sedatives as me only they gave me extra and I still wasn’t reacting to it 🤣 They said its possible the prednisone for the contrast allergy did it..

I literally felt a tool touching my heart 😖 I told the dr I thought something was wrong cause it felt like something was physically pushing on my heart and he said oh that’s just me 🤯

His answer as to my half of my heart wasn’t moving during the stress test was the weight of my breast. He said everything he saw was in more than great shape. I apparently have beautiful arteries as I heard him say 2xs calling others to see before he knew I was as aware as I was.

My mom still feels I'm a “shit eater” 🙄 and doesn’t think it’s right the surgeon told me to change nothing but avoid the meds that affect my bp and hr. I don’t eat that bad, if anything I over eat so many veggies and drink so much water that they prob cancel out the unhealthy things I occasionally eat.

Swollen and bruised.. Was told I needed someone with me 24/7 for at least a couple of days to make sure I don’t bleed out the artery, but they think if I keep it still and straight I should be good. If it doesn’t stop bleeding in 10mins of when/if it starts they said I have to call an ambulance only that they’d be prepared to stop it before I could get to a hospital.

All in all, the scariest time of this year for me ended in the best possible way it could. Fingers crossed nothing else is going on at the cardio follow up and my mri of the back mass is benign when they say it’s safe to do.

Thank you all who have been there and listened, wished me well and checked on me so much ❤️❤️❤️

Aww glad you are doing ok now. 🦋🫂What type surgery was it?

@Coralmist Thanks 🤍

I had a double heart catheterization. I am allergic to the contrast dye that they use for it, so that was another worry. I was told I would need a possible stent/s if the arteries were clogged or another surgery. I’ve had heart related things for a couple years due to what they believe or just color dies in medications, but I had a lot of swelling in my legs that no one could explain so I went for another opinion.

The abnormal stress test is what made this procedure necessary. Keep it in mind if you’re top-heavy incase you ever end up in that position so you don’t worry as much, but of course look into it to be sure.
