Mine is always ridiculously high on the first try. Generally, the reading is much lower for me when they do it again at the end of the visit, after I have settled in.

@DrWatson goes high at home too. It is a shame root in fear...I had severe abuse for decades so I equate even health things with fear or shame. I know it is normal pressure..as my doc gets a good reading at end. But haven't had accurate reading in 3 years..only if she doesn't TELL me shes doing it then its normal. Last time she rechecked it she alerted me and my heart started racing. I need a new way to view it in general
