Okay I think I got a concussion in my recent crash, and the symptoms are getting worse

Luckily the CT scan they did at the hospital showed nothing but I’ve read that it usually can’t detect plain old concussions. My brain is foggy, simple things are super hard, and I’m still having memory problems (short and long term). And it’s been getting increasingly worse. Have to wait till Monday to try and get in with a specialist ugh.

If there's no sign of damage on ct scan then what you're experiencing is probably delayed shock.

It's a combination of physical shock; emotional upset and survivor guilt which your mind and psyche are trying to process and recover from.

It's very common

@Picklebobble2 I mean no, CT scans can’t detect most concussions, only like scull fractures and major bleeds. My mental health has been fine and I’m not guilty I survived lol, and all my symptoms are consistent with a concussion (like the recent ringing in my ears).
