soooooooo bored

going on 3 weeks now in hospital and so bored that I have developed a habit of counting small bumps on the walls here, but I am so bored doing that, that I keep losing count because I am thinking of how bored I am and there are no other patients in here that I get on with. A few nurses are really nice and will indulge me with 15 to half hour hang outs every so often but mostly I am either in my room or in common room sitting and staring at the walls, which I am sure is making me just seem crazier.
My sister visited today and gave me my phone, so that's good at least.
Any who, what have all you lovely people been up 2? please don't spare me the details I need distraction lol

@MrBlueGuy I'm sorry to hear that. Being in hospital is certainly no fun, thats really nice that you had some nurses like that though. Nurses when really nice can really make it much more tolerable and more pudding is always a extra win lol

@ZashaKitty It really is the boredom that's the worst..especially with no entertainment it's like being in prison -___- hopefully being here helps a bit!

@MrBlueGuy most definitely. The lack of things to do and the boredom is the worst.
I have to go for a bit now. In 2 minutes, A nurse will call for everyone's phones and to have dinner. Hopefully they will give my phone back after it but if not, thank you for your messages and photos.

@AuRevoir very cool. I haven't heard of any of those, I will have to look them up.
I watched the One Piece Netflix show a little bit ago and that was really good. I will look up the anime, thanks for the reminder.

@ZashaKitty I mean if you have the free time doing nothing right now one piece is definitely an adventure that will keep you going.. as long as you like anime and adventure genres.. 🤔

As for games if you’re in the hospital I’m surprised your family hasn’t gotten you a switch lite or something to play with.. like a steam deck..

I mean I think it’s worthwhile for people to get into.. if they focus less on the art and more on the little jokes they’re trying to make they’d be amused..

@AuRevoir I have never really watched anime before i keep hearing good things, so I should give it a try.
There used to be a Nintendo switch in this hospital the last time i was admitted but it is not here anymore. It only had a umm sports game thing on it. I forget what it was called though. It was fun when having someone to play it with though.

@LandOfOz there is certain times that they allow phones in here. They take them during mealtimes though. I guess they don't want patients distracted or anything and to eat. I don't really know. I haven't asked before why. I will find out though.
