Carnivore on a budget

This is true, too many people complain about expensive prices but in reality, their mind makes it expensive because they're likely getting other things that are more expensive.

When I was a student I used to go the butcher as they were closing up on a Saturday and make myself look hungry 🥺 There were always bits and bobs that the regular folk wouldn't buy and which would go to waste otherwise. One day I bought an entire pig's head for £1.50p (the butcher sawed it down the middle so I could process it). There was about 3lbs of white meat, 2lbs of brawn and load of lard. Kept me in protein for over a week 😊

@SunshineGirl Niceeeeeeeee that sounds so good. that's why I think we're all victims of society in one way or another. Meat can be cheap but we're taught to be so sanitized and corporate everything so now they can jack up prices and ruin local economies

@SatanBurger Exactly. If you go to the shop with an open and adventurous mind, you will always find something affordable and you will help the free market to work as it should do.

Around Christmas time, white turkey meat was selling for four times as much as brown, because of the mismatch of supply and demand. Brown turkey meat is delicious, but is only really valued in Chinese cuisine. We bought cheap and piled it into our freezer.
