Isn't it weird when you go to fill a prescription and the prescription reads differently than what your doctor prescribed?

I've had a prescription in my purse since earlier this year. I dug around in my purse/wallet to find it today, because I'm itching ALL OVER. Urgh. Anyway, the dermatologist definitely prescribed a medication for my head according to our office visit. But, the prescription said to apply it to my ears. 🤦‍♀️

What?

I don't understand how doctor offices mess that up. If I got it filled, I don't know if the pharmacy would have specified the exact area, but still...

By the way, it is a prescription for dandruff. My head was itching.

It happened with my ma/ mother once
For two three months she was taking the wrong medicine 😔 and same
We were wondering why her symptoms are getting worse instead of getting better 🤦‍♀️
