Detox patches for the feet.

@soar2newhighs Medicinal foot patches for the feet. You put one on the bottom of each foot before bedtime. You remove them in the morning. The white patch turns black meaning that it has detoxified your body or your blood from impurities. I think it originated as Chinese medicine but has spread in popularity.

@IM5688 Did you get them as a prescription or otc? I’m familiar with some forms of detox.
As for pads, I have lidocaine for pain, if needed.

@soar2newhighs They are OTC. Not for pain. You can look them up on Amazon also. Type in detox foot pads.

The ones I buy, I get in a Chinese health store. These are suppose to help detox and cleanse your blood and body.

@IM5688 They don't work. They're on the market because a huge, extremely rich Chinese put them out there. They won't hurt you, supposedly, but they do not detox anything in your body. It is very difficult to get something like that from China off the market though until it does injure some people.

@Nitedoc Interesting. I know when I put them on the pads are white. When I remove them they are dark brown/black and the brown/black is sticky.

@IM5688 That dark substance is an inert heat activated gel that turns dark to make you think it's working. I read a medical study, in JAMA, of those pads when they first came to to the US. There is nothing in them to make them work. They are useless and a waste of money.

@MsSwan It is criminal what some of these companies get away with. It is just very hard to do anything about it when they are in China.

@Nitedoc I know.. you have to be skeptical of everything.

@MsSwan Well sort of. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
