I have a serious fear of poison ivy, and I opened my bedroom window today to let some air in...

And, BOOM! Poison ivy roots growing through the screen all in the bedroom window between the screen and the glass.

It scared the crap out of me.

Keep some old fashioned lye soap handy, it removes the oil causing the rash.

I hope I don’t have a reaction to it just from reading the words ’poison ivy’. Haha! I’ve had it all over my body as a kid. That sucked!

@TravisTx I know how you feel... I felt contaminated just by looking at it. It's pretty traumatizing.

I got that hiking once. I got off the trail because I couldn't really see it.

@Spoiledbrat It can be hard to see especially if other plants/vines are growing over it.
