My knee just started locking up yesterday. WTF is going on? Anyone know?

I iced it and took Ibuprofen but I went to sleep and woke up with the pain stiffness and swelling.

@HellsBelle I don't really know what happened. I wasn't doing anything strenuous. I had some friends over earlier that day. We were just sitting around eating and talking. Then a couple hours later, I was on the phone and it started to stiffen and tighten up. Has been the same since.

@blindbob it happened to me suddenly too and when the doctor saw the swelling in my knee she steaught away said it was. It only flares up a couple of times a year.
