I’m scared

I just got a message from my Doctor at my local GP, they sent me a SMS message saying they want me to have an urgent MRI scan to check my prolactin. I am very scared 😢

Hmm. Are you on any medication that could affect prolactin? I was on risperidone and it caused hyperprolactin levels.

@Courtney22 it is. I had to have all kinds of blood work done, they were worried it was a pituitary tumor. Fortunately it wasn't. My psychiatrist just switched me to aripiprazole and that fixed it.

@Courtney22 I'm a big sissy about doctors and medical tests. But I have learned it's always better, and easier, to just go and get it over with. The chances are it's nothing.
