Sounds worse than it was, but I know now that when working in a garage, one needs shoes that cover the toes and they should never, ever pretend they're bionic when removing things from high shelves (I'm a short-cutter). A lot of the stitches were internal, which is awful but they don't really show or hurt, so the scarring is minimal. If you live long enough, you'll do everything once, I guess.
