Body Image and Health

I am 5 foot 8ish, maybe 5 foot 9, and I am apparently overweight - I'm 183 lbs (BMI 28.7). I used to be so fit and I felt invincible - I would run cross country and log 8-13 miles a day and compete in jiu jitsu four days a week. In those days just a few years ago I was chiseled and 165-170 lbs with abs and an actual jawline and could run consistently for a long time. Now I'm here and I'm not satisfied with where I am. It's like I've forgotten what it takes to get in shape and stay that way. Can anyone help at all? Any advice?

Yes I can. I enrolled in a doctors weight loss program. I started to put on weight too. first menopause for me, then i had knee surgery. Nothing i was doing was working. I stopped fast food, i stopped juices and artificial sugar. nothing helped. this is my second day of only eating protein and i honestly feel i am going to die but it will be worth it in the end

People age and the body changed. Nothing you can do.

If you want to be in better shape, you certainly know what to do, but if you think you’re going to be that flexible, lithesome teen forever, I have some bad news.
