On Tuesday I found out I have a blood clot in my right leg and got put on blood thinners. I noticed on Monday night and because I know the signs of a blood clot I got it checked out on Tuesday.
I am going to try and keep smiling though. Today I have steroid injections in my Sacroiliac Joints. It’s very painful but it helps with the auto immune arthritis. I also have to go for an MRI to make sure I have torn my rotator cuff.
I should be starting my IV antibiotics again next week. Not looking forward to that but I need to get rid of that infection. Hopefully this round of IV antibiotics knocks it out.
I am getting tired of this but thank you to everyone who has supported me. I appreciate it.
Here is a kiss for you all 💖💖💖

@Punches signs of a blood clot that I had in my leg: Swelling Pitting (Pushing on the skin and it leaving an indent) Pain and cramping Numbness Redness anywhere on the leg My foot was very cold
As soon as I noticed it on Monday night I knew what it was but it was 11pm at night and I had taken my pain meds. I saw a doctor through this online service in my province called QDoc (it’s a video call with a doctor) and she wanted me to go to the ER then but I couldn’t because those meds make me sleepy. She ordered Bloodwork for me and sent a report to my doctor who ordered an emergency ultrasound.
@iamonfire696 interesting. Not that I know much about medical but I always assumed blood clots were one of those things that someone would never know they even had.
@Punches if you don’t know the signs of a blood clot then you won’t know but I have taken medical courses and work in a hospital so I am familiar with things like that.
@iamonfire696 Wow you are a TROOPER, hands down. Did they say it was from Covid? One day soon you are going to look back at these issues and say, I made it through!! And feel much better🤗🌺
@iamonfire696 yeah I do recall you have some medical background. I would rather ask somebody on a forum who knows honestly because when you Google stuff like that it immediately assumes someone's going to either check out early or that they have covid. It's like no, I'm just wondering about a blood clot sign so yes I appreciate your feedback. I've never experienced any of those, at least not worthy of remembering.
