So apparently its my asthma

I saw the asthma nurse this morning and she's prescribed an additional inhaler. Let's just hope that helps. I also hope that the doctor signs the prescription before the end of surgery. Otherwise I'll not get it until tommorow which after struggling to breathe last night despite taking my reliever inhaler, I really don't want. They wonder why I have anxiety! It's all the stress!. I'm still waiting for a call back from the hospital about some other medication and that's been going on for 3 weeks the NHS is a joke!!!
I struggled with asthma my whole adult life. About 3 years ago I was put on a maintenance inhaler called Symbicort. It's a game changer for me. Have not had an attack since.
I'm not crazy about being married to a drug, and any possible effects that go with it. But in exchange I've got a normal life where I can exert myself to the limit and not have to worry. And no more ' oh my God I forgot to bring my rescue inhaler' worries.

@robingoodfellow I'm glad you found something that has worked. I've not heard of that inhaler. But I'm no expert in inhalers lol. I'm in the UK so things might be different if you are elsewhere too. It felt like I was being interrogated at the doctors. The nurse kept asking what my triggers are and as it feels bad all the time at the moment I just don't know. It quite upset me as I'd gone there for help and they know I have anxiety.
