Masks - Memory Lane

Do you remember when the mask zealots started ranting at others for not having their mask over their nose, let alone the endorsed segregation for ppl who choose not to wear one. Full compliance......or else.

And if you are going to come on here blathering about "masks stop a bug".....look up all rcts and microns. Plus, why arent you wearing one now? And why does everybody have to join in this weird ritual?

Is it just the wind you're shouting to or are you making some kind of point here? Scientific? Medical? Political? Mental health?
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@Graylight That’s what I thought of mask bullies.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@MrBrownstone Tell me, are there abortion bullies? School vaccination bullies? Taxman bullies? Doctor bullies?

Or is a "bully" simply anyone impinging on your misguided sense of omnipotent entitlement?

@MrBrownstone Admitting the problem is the 1st step.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@Graylight I already knew bullies existed
Graylight · 51-55, F
@MrBrownstone The issue here is who you see as the bully and why.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@Graylight Then why did you bring up abortion?
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Graylight scientific: RCTs and microns. Medical: RCTs and microns. Political: Segregation for not wearing a mask. Mental health: munchausen by proxy.

Points im making. Masks dont stop a bug, hypocrisy and kow-towing

@gol979 Not going to have a discussion with you on vaccine development and epidemiological research. You'd need a HS degree, so it's unfair.

Segregation is forced. It has been mandated by law. It's typically based on race and provides a means of maintaining the economic advantages and superior social status of the politically dominant group, and in recent times it has been employed primarily by white populations to maintain their ascendancy over other groups by means of legal and social color bars. Historically, however, various conquerors—among them Asian Mongols, African Bantus, and American Aztecs—practiced discrimination involving the segregation of subject races.

You can't smoke on a plane. Is that segregation? Can't carry a firearm into a government building. Segregation? Can't attend public school without an MMR vaccination. Segregation? You have to be this tall to ride the attraction. Segregation?

And Munchausen's by proxy? It's Factitious Disorder Imposed on Another (FDIA) and has no place in this conversation.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@gol979 In other words. You won the argument.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@MrBrownstone I guess this is how induced brain decay presents.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@Graylight Says the one who brought up abortion.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@MrBrownstone I also brought up taxes, doctors and schools.

As examples of others imposing their will, but in those examples everything's perfectly acceptable. What is it that makes this one vaccine out a a thousand vaccine so very special?

Not the technology. Been around for decades.
Not the vaccination itself. mRNA is already being formulated into life-saving vaccines of all kinds.
Not the need. 6.5 million deaths, 615 million cases.
Not the use. Public health measure have precedent and law behind them.

So, other than the tears of stalwart patriots who will march into hell and overturn governments for their leader but fear a tiny piece of cloth... I just can't put my finger on it.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@Graylight Exactly. Avoided the topic.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@MrBrownstone Oh, is that what passes for reality over on your side? Okay.
