Masks - Memory Lane

Do you remember when the mask zealots started ranting at others for not having their mask over their nose, let alone the endorsed segregation for ppl who choose not to wear one. Full compliance......or else.

And if you are going to come on here blathering about "masks stop a bug".....look up all rcts and microns. Plus, why arent you wearing one now? And why does everybody have to join in this weird ritual?

I remember folks with REAL acute, serious illness having to be turned away from getting proper care because beds were all being taken by cavalier smartass jackasses who are smarter than health clinicians.

I remember my best friend dying because of ignorant "No Mask" and "No Vax" morons. Many of those same morons ended-up crying, afraid their next breath they struggled for might be the last breath ever. I remember the look of terror.

The morgues, cemetaries, quickly filled with big. bad tough guys, men with smart mouths that eventually went silent.

Have a great life for the sake of someone who would have appreciated having a life.

@Grateful4you good to see you are still repeating the propaganda from 2020. And the morgues/excess deaths have gone through the roof this year, not on 2020/21. Now i wonder what that could be?

@gol979 Mine was a snapshot back to the time when precautions were still indicated. YOU asked "Do you remember?" I no longer wear a mask, I'm vaccinated, I watch reports to ensure the status of Covid is reasonably being held in check.

I spent most of my life as a caregiver and EMT approx. 45 years of my life seeking to ease pain and help to heal. In those 45 years never had I seen this kind of pandemic spread as quickly, become so virulent as to infect otherwise young and healthy young people.

I held the hands of folks with terror stricken faces, people who knew they were dying. The remorse of parents who watched their children die because they believed the anti-vaccine propaganda and media lies. You can call me a liar, that won't bring back dead children.

Life is so easily taken away, embrace and have the gratitude those who have passed can never have again.

Be happy and seek to make others happy.

@gol979 my whole family had Covid, my children don’t have any autoimmune issues or underlying illness … they were up and running again in just a couple days. It felt exactly like the flu for me (except the headache was unlike any other one I had before)

Oh and here’s the kicker, we wore masks anytime we had to go out or be around people. We still got sick. This was last year
