Have you ever experienced chronic pain and sickness?

Were you given a medical diagnosis? Did you find ways to remain healthy and active despite?

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia years ago and tried every available option besides meds to no avail. When I lived in the van on the road, I never had pain, never got sick, I had energy, I got excellent sleep and was able to eat without discomfort. As soon as I get back to Delaware it all dumped right back on me worse than before 😆 I’ve never felt so terrible in my life.

@stratosranger They removed my gallbladder years ago after I had my son 😢
Oh! Did your symptoms start after that surgery or were they present prior to the removal? @RebelFox

@stratosranger They started years after. I was in incredible shape. Lean and muscular. It started when my parents died.
Have you ever been diagnosed with PTSD? They have found that PTSD sufferers have a set of nerves in the brain that are triggered by certain stimuli. These nerves are also connected to the vagus nerves. It’s a “muscle memory” feedback loop that can be either triggered by the nerves in the mind or the vagus nerves of the body (which is where your pain is originating from). PTSD is not just limited to veterans or first responders. Something to consider since your symptoms started after a traumatic event. @RebelFox

@stratosranger Yes I was diagnosed with ptsd a long time ago. I went through a lot of sexual abuse as a child that my family ignored. I am for sure damaged goods. And now everyone keeps dying and I can’t do anything to stop it. I just keep getting more alone and it keeps getting worse and I don’t know how to keep this up. I want to run around and play with my son again 😭
@RebelFox I’m so sorry. Sometimes in life we are left with hard choices. You need to care for yourself but yet your loved ones and son need you as well. The hard but correct choice is to care for yourself first. Only because you can’t care for anyone else if you’re broken.

@RebelFox There's a girl my son is friends with who had all sort of problems, mental as well as physical. She once spent some time in a mental ward after a minor fender bender. She left here and moved out west for a year or so and not only did her mental health improve, but her physical health did as well. She's back here now but from what I understand avoiding certain family members,
So yeah, something there could be triggering you and a change of scenery could help with your health issues.
