Been feeling sick lately but I'm not 100% why...
It's to the point I can't eat anything without worrying if I'll feel worse after. All I know is, it's blood sugar related and I'm not really showing the symptoms of being diabetic. I will get a glucose monitor soon though so I can see my sugar levels when I feel like crap. That'll tell me if it happens to be hyperglycemia leading to diabetes, or more likely reactive hypoglycemia where blood sugar levels drop within 4 hours of a meal...usually thirty minutes to an hour I feel sick. Consuming sugar does help when blood sugar is low, I feel the difference but...it's the crash afterwards that kills me so I found eating lots of protein and fiber helps ease the symptoms. Of course, diabetes runs in my family and hypoglycemia so there's a difference of opinion on what it could be...the monitor will tell since my primary doctor is booked til September.
