Imagine never getting your cholesterol levels tested and going for that nonsense. Which I hope isn't what you're doing there.
Unfortunately what you save on food will pay in hospital bills.
The keto diet is not no carb, it's low carb AND you should be doing it under doctor's supervision because you can become easily deficient in MANY minerals and amino acids due to high urination.
I became severely deficient in magnesium, potassium and calcium (which effected my heart).

Eat more veggies. Lots of them. I found that I felt the same way when I dropped carbs.

Okay, first of all, no carbs will eventually kill you. Take it from a diabetic. It's a delicate balancing act. The first thing you need to know about carbohydrates is that's the only fuel your brain uses. It needs glucose.

@eMortal The best way to go low carb is to do the diabetic diet. Allow yourself between 0 and 14 carbs in a snack, and up to 60 in a meal. That's still a hell of a lot less than the average American eats.

@LordShadowfire I’ll try that.

Those crash diets are all fads.
Try something like a Mediterranean or DASH diet. It's a lifestyle you can live with.
